Biomedical Research Analyst
Formulate and apply biomedical/biostatistical informatics tools to develop and analyze public health prehospital emergency medical dispatch/care data. Direct and manage medical dispatch databases. Develop and implement biostatistical analytical programs using STATA scientific software. Create study protocols and perform scientific data analysis. Prepare and publish research findings.
Requires M.S. Degree in Biomedical Informatics/equivalent, plus 2 years experience in job offered. Working knowledge of STATA and ProQA software.

Allina Medical Transportation (AMT), with nearly 50,000 ambulance calls each year, is a regional leader in providing state-of-the art emergency and medical transport services. Both emergency and non-emergency medical transportation are provided in seven counties, encompassing nearly 80 Minnesota communities and reaching more than 750,000 people.
Responsibilities:
- 911 emergency medical call taking and dispatching of ambulances.
Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED equivalent.
- Emergency Medical Dispatch Certificate required.
- Excellent geographic knowledge of the Twin Cities area.
- 2 years of EMS dispatch experience preferred.
- Ability to make critical decisions without specific guidance.
- Multiphone line and 800 MHz radio experience preferred.
- Multitasking and excellent customer service skills required.
Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule:
Full time position (40 hours per week)
Day, Evening, Night shifts
Every other weekend
L167 contract
Pay is $18.35

Communications Specialist
As Communications Specialist, you will coordinate air and ground transport calls, and provide direction on incoming patient transports.
Essential Duties:
- Operate two-way radio, computer database, mapping systems and related equipment in support of air medical and ground-based patient transport services
- Respond and dispatch transport teams
- Triage transport requests and prioritize incoming calls
- Receive incoming calls and set up teleconferences with medical team
- Assist in training and orientation of communications specialists
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of dispatch center experience, handling EMS traffic or equivalent experience in a healthcare business environment
- Current GA licensure as an EMT or Paramedic; National Registry preferred
- BLS certification (ACLS certification also required for paramedics)
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Data entry, word processing and basic math skills

CenterPoint Energy DISPATCHER I - SHREVEPORT, LA
CenterPoint Energy is seeking a Dispatcher I for our Shreveport, LA work location. There are 4 open positions. In this position, you will monitor and dispatch work orders to field personnel; provide communication between customer service representatives and field personnel. You will also receive and dispatch emergency calls.
To qualify, a high school diploma or equivalent knowledge of English and Math is required (GED acceptable).
Requires one year experience with SAP or a mobile data dispatching system. Requires a minimum of one year experience in/or supporting gas distribution operations or a minimum of one year of equivalent dispatching experience.
This is a DOT safety-sensitive position. Drug testing and background checks are required.
