MICHELLE WELCH
I met Michelle in 1984 in an EMD training course I taught, and have followed her career ever since until she recently retired. She had more great CPR cases than anyone I ever knew of. We had a full 60 minute cassette tape of her resuscitation cases amassed in her first 5 years that we called "Michelle Welch's Greatest Hits." She was the NAED national "EMD of the Year" in 1988. Ironically, she took the call from my dad when my mother collapsed and died in 2004. Always caring, and a dedicated public servant, she will be greatly missed. -- Jeff Clawson, M.D.
